Yellow-Crowned Amazon Parrot for Rehoming – Meet Kiko

Meet Kiko, our beautiful Yellow-Crowned Amazon parrot currently seeking a loving forever home.

While we are not certain of his exact age, we estimate Kiko to be between 15 and 20 years old. He has been in our care for the past five years after sadly losing his previous owner due to a terminal illness. Kiko shared a very close and loving bond with his former owner, and the transition was understandably difficult for him.

Since coming to live with us, Kiko has been well cared for, but despite our best efforts, he has never fully settled in our multi-parrot household. In particular, he has struggled to form a bond with my husband, and we believe he may still be emotionally attached to his former home and routine.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision for us, but we feel Kiko deserves a home where he can receive more one-on-one time and attention than we are currently able to provide. He would likely thrive best as the only parrot in the household, with a dedicated owner who can build trust, patience, and a new lifelong bond with him.

Kiko is looking for:

• A calm, stable environment
• A committed and experienced owner
• Plenty of individual attention
• A home where he can be the center of affection

We are not in a rush and will only consider serious inquiries. Finding the right, loving home for this special boy is our top priority.
